This practical Lameness Prevention Workshop is led by Steve Paul (foot trimmer with 14 years experience) and David Pettitt (Kingshay Consultant).
This Workshop will help you:
- Learn from a practical demonstration of foot trimming
- Understand the impact of lameness on fertility and longevity
- Examine physical and nutritional causes of lameness
- Site foot baths and cattle crushes effectively on your farm
The Workshop runs from 10:45am - 3:15pm (lunch included) and is open to all dairy farmers and farm staff. Morning Discussion and On Farm after Lunch
